[mask_rom] Create initial functional tests. Initial functional tests for mask ROM modules. These tests utilize the existing RV32I test infrastructure: they are built as unsigned code which executes from flash and rely on the primitive boot_rom to execute them. The test infrastructure uses the UART DIF to communicate test results via the UART. 1. Functional test for UART. 2. Functional test for HMAC. Sample of how to exexute the functional tests. I plan to automate this as part of the build-system refactoring. ``` build/lowrisc_systems_chip_earlgrey_verilator_0.1/sim-verilator/Vchip_earlgrey_verilator \ --meminit=rom,build-bin/sw/device/boot_rom/boot_rom_sim_verilator.scr.40.vmem \ --meminit=otp,build-bin/sw/device/otp_img/otp_img_sim_verilator.vmem \ --meminit=flash,build-bin/sw/device/silicon_creator/testing/sw_silicon_creator_lib_driver_hmac_functest_sim_verilator.elf ``` Signed-off-by: Chris Frantz <cfrantz@google.com>
OpenTitan is an open source silicon Root of Trust (RoT) project. OpenTitan will make the silicon RoT design and implementation more transparent, trustworthy, and secure for enterprises, platform providers, and chip manufacturers. OpenTitan is administered by lowRISC CIC as a collaborative project to produce high quality, open IP for instantiation as a full-featured product. See the OpenTitan site and OpenTitan docs for more information about the project.
This repository contains hardware, software and utilities written as part of the OpenTitan project. It is structured as monolithic repository, or “monorepo”, where all components live in one repository. It exists to enable collaboration across partners participating in the OpenTitan project.
The project contains comprehensive documentation of all IPs and tools. You can access it online at docs.opentitan.org.
Have a look at CONTRIBUTING and our documentation on project organization and processes for guidelines on how to contribute code to this repository.
